What are the 2026 rates?
Below state pension age: 35.75% up to €38,883 (this includes national insurance contributions), 37.56% up to €78,426 and 49.50% above. The general tax credit is up to €3,115 and the labour tax credit up to €5,685, both phasing out as income rises.
What is left out?
Pension fund contributions (often 4–8% of salary and deductible), the healthcare insurance premium you pay yourself, benefits and allowances (toeslagen), and box 2 and box 3 income. Holiday allowance of 8% is usually part of the annual gross.
