Questions people ask
Why does my region matter?
IRPF is half state and half regional, and each region sets its own scale. This calculator uses the state scale twice (19% to 47% combined), which is close to most regions; Madrid is somewhat lower and Catalonia and Valencia somewhat higher at many incomes.
What are the personal and family minimums?
Amounts that are taxed at 0%: €5,550 for you (more from 65 and 75), €2,400, €2,700, €4,000 and €4,500 for the first to fourth and later children, plus €2,800 for each child under 3. Parents who both declare usually split the child amounts; this calculator gives them all to you.
